Aston Martin Lagonda Limited - This is the entire brand name of British sports cars. They were produced for the first time in 1915. The company has its headquarters in the town of Gaydon. This company was founded by two people namely Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Earlier they were selling Singer brand vehicles. After the first production of the car came the war and it was necessary to wait for the new production of vehicles after the war. Quite a few enthusiasts of this type of vehicle made it and they got a cash injection from many sponsors for their next operation. It was they, led by Charnwood, who decided to take over the company and named it Aston Martin Motors. From then on cars began to be manufactured in the town of Felham. A lot of them were made, they took part in numerous races and also appeared in movies.
Brand name is derived from the famous race called the Aston Clinton Hill Climp as well as the name of one of the founders Lionel Martin. From 1994 to 2007 the company was part of the Premier Automotive Group - owned by Form Motor Company. In 2007 it was sold to other owners. However, Ford left himself 15% of shares in this company. In 2013, 5% of shares in the brand were acquired by Daimler AG - so the company acquired the latest automotive technology. They want to buy a majority stake in the brand in the future.
The Aston brand in the movies has appeared many times. Most notably in James Bond. These included vehicles such as the DB5 in the 1964 film Goldfinger and Operation Lightning, which was filmed a year later. More recently, this car model appeared in Skyfall. The DBS also starred in the 1969 film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, a bit of a hiatus for the Bond film due to other car brands playing there. It returned in 1987 in a film called Facing Death and the V12 Vanquish model in the 2002 film Death Comes Tomorrow. The new revised DBS appeared in Quantum of Solace. In 2014 he debuted the DB10 in Spectre as well as in Twilight.
