It debuted in 2014 and focuses on adapting popular characters and scenes from classic Disney movies featuring princesses, such as "Cinderella," "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," "The Princess and the Frog" and many others. 1. Disney's first minifigures: Although LEGO and Disney have been working together for many years, the LEGO Princesses series was one of the first sets to introduce Disney princess minifigures in a specific style that differs from standard LEGO minifigures.
  2. Changing hairstyles: LEGO pays great attention to detail. The princesses' hairstyles in this series are carefully crafted to reflect those in the movies, and many are unique only to this series.
  3. Iceberg Land vs Princesses: Although "Iceberg Land" is not a typical princess movie, the sets with Elsa and Anna have become some of the most popular in the line.
  4. "Mini" princesses: The series also featured smaller sets with so-called "mini" princesses - these are smaller versions of the characters that are ideal for younger children.
  5. Limited edition kits: Certain sets, such as Sleeping Beauty's Palace, were only available for a limited time, making them more desirable among collectors.
  6. Hidden details: Many of the sets feature hidden details or references to specific scenes from Disney movies, adding depth to the play and allowing fans to get even more involved.
  7. Diversity: While many people think of the LEGO Princesses series as a series for girls, many sets offer a variety of themes, from adventure to magic to science, attracting a wide audience.
  8. Enhanced accessories: Kits often include a variety of accessories, such as books, binoculars and magic potions, which add depth to any story children build.
  9. Recycling blocks: Interestingly, LEGO is trying to be eco-friendly and many bricks in this series (and others) are now made from plant-based materials.
  10. Cooperation with other series: Although the Princess series is unique, some of its elements, such as bricks and accessories, are compatible with other LEGO series, such as LEGO Friends and LEGO City.
