Most animals escape the heat and hide between trees and bushes. Lizards, on the other hand, are very thermophilic. They can lie in the sun for hours either on rocks or sand. They feel very comfortable then and rarely get tired of it. I encourage you to color this gecko in your favorite colors or so that it masks itself in its surroundings.
