It might seem that he is the sweetest and altogether harmless character of the Straw Hat crew. On the other hand, he is a very important person, as he performs the role of the crew's medic. Through the events on the ship and through his adventures, he has grown very mature, although he still belongs to the Cowardly Trio along with Usopp and Nami.
