"Horton Hears a Who!" is a popular children's book written by American author Theodor Seuss Geisel, also known as Dr. Seuss. The book was first published in 1954 and is one of Dr. Seuss' best-known works.

The plot centers on Horton, a friendly elephant who one day hears a quiet voice from a tiny pollen. Horton discovers that on this pollen is an entire town called Whoville, inhabited by tiny beings called Whos. Horton decides to protect Whoville, saying "a person is a person, no matter how small." In the course of the story, Horton has to face jungle dwellers who do not believe in the existence of Whoville and are trying to destroy the pollen.

"Horton Hears a Who!" is considered a classic example of children's literature, with its distinctive rhyming and Dr. Seuss illustrations, as well as its message of empathy and defense of those who cannot defend themselves.

The book has been adapted to film several times, the most recent adaptation being a 2008 animated film produced by Blue Sky Studios.
