"Ramayana" is one of the two most important ancient Indian epics, along with "Mahabharata." It is a Sanskrit epic by Valmiki, telling the story of Prince Rama, his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana. The epic is also known for its distinctive hero named Hanuman, a monkey god who is a great devotee of Rama.
