Butterflies have six legs and four wings. Our insect in the picture hid its legs from us, but luckily it showed its wings. There are more night butterflies around the world, which are called moths and are dark in color, than day butterflies, which are colorful. Look at the butterfly in front of you and decide if it should be a day butterfly or a night butterfly. Keep in mind their coloration.
