Diego Maradona was an Argentine footballer, considered one of the greatest and most talented players in the history of soccer. He was born on October 30, 1960 in Lanús, Argentina, and died on November 25, 2020 in Tigre, also in Argentina.

- Club career: Maradona began his career with the junior club Argentinos Juniors in Buenos Aires. At just 16, he made his debut for the Argentine national team. He later played for clubs such as Boca Juniors, FC Barcelona, Napoli, Sevilla and Newell's Old Boys.
- Club successes: Maradona won many titles and trophies during his club career. In particular, his period playing for Napoli (1984-1991) is considered his most successful, when he won two Italian championship titles (scudetto) and the UEFA Cup.
