Nana Shimura is a character from the popular anime and manga series "My Hero Academia" (Boku no Hero Academia), created by Kōhei Horikoshi.

Nana Shimura was All Might's predecessor as the holder of the "One For All" power, making her an important figure in the series' history, although her presence is mostly felt through memories and flashbacks.
"One For All" is a unique power that can be passed from one person to another, accumulating the power and experience of each previous user. Nana passed this power to All Might when she decided that he was the most suitable person to inherit it.
Nana was a strong and determined fighter who was committed to the ideals of justice and heroism. Unfortunately, she was killed by All For One, the series' main antagonist.
Nana Shimura is also important because she is the grandmother of Shigaraki, who is one of the main antagonists in the series, the leader of the League of Villains. This familial bond adds additional tension and drama to the conflicts in the series.
