Tokyo Revengers is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It follows Takemichi Hanagaki, a salaryman who travels back in time to his middle school days to save his childhood friends from a deadly fate. Manjiro Sano is another of Takemichi's childhood friends, a rebellious student from an extremely strict family who later descends into crime.
Other characters in Tokyo Revengers include Miyao, a classmate of Takemichi and Manjiro; Hinata Tachibana, a deli girl who joins Takemichi's group; Draken, leader of the Tokyo Manji Gang; and Mikey, an American boxer who trains Takemichi and Manjiro in martial arts. There are also various other allies and enemies that Takemichi and Manjiro must confront and fight as part of their journey.
