Shoto Todoroki is one of the main characters in the anime and manga series "My Hero Academia" (Boku no Hīrō Academy) created by Kōhei Horikoshi.

Shoto is a student at U.A. High School, a school for future superheroes. His "quirk" (a unique power in the My Hero Academia universe) is called "Half-Cold Half-Hot" and gives him the ability to control both fire and ice, where each side of his body controls a different power. Ice comes from his right side and fire from his left.
Shoto is the son of Enji Todoroki, known as Endeavor, who is the second strongest hero in Japan. Because of the intense and often brutal training that Endeavor subjected him to as a child, Shoto initially rejected his fiery side and relied only on frost. However, thanks to the influence of the main character, Izuku Midoriya, Shoto begins to accept his abilities and combine both sides of his power.
Shoto is often described as calm and matter-of-fact, but he is also very determined and committed to being a hero. His unique abilities and character make him one of the most important characters in the series.
