TikTok is a social app for creating and sharing short videos with music, which was designed in a relatively short period of time after its appearance on the market. It was first introduced in 2016 by a company called ByteDance, which titled it Douyin in China. One of the company's main goals was to allow users to create videos they couldn't take with ordinary digital cameras, and quickly share such videos with others. In 2018, the app was modified and released internationally under the name TikTok. Since then, it has spread at an incredible pace, becoming one of the most popular apps in the world.
