King Teca has a daughter, the title character Maya, and five sons. He is the current ruler of the Kingdom of Teca; his wife is the queen. In everyday life he is a cheerful and merry man. Sometimes he is overconfident and overestimates his fighting abilities. He tries to live in harmony with everyone, especially with other kingdoms.
