The California bobwhite quail or California partridge lives on the west coast of North America, where it inhabits a variety of landscapes: dry grasslands and shrublands, deserts, evergreen forests, savannas and agricultural areas. This bird is the national bird of California. Small birds are very fond of settling in shrubby areas. They lead a sedentary lifestyle and are active mainly during the day, but at night they sleep in the trees. When coloring the picture, try not to go behind the line.
