The Minotaur is a figure of Greek mythology, he was a monster of a man with the head of a bull. His father was the Minotaur, and his mother was the queen of Crete, Pasiphae. The Minotaur was kept in a labyrinth with various paths and twists leading him. He was also plagued by the bloodthirsty Herystes, and his only meal was human sacrifices. The Labyrinth of the Minotaur was a powerful labyrinth that was built on Crete to contain the Minotaur. It was constructed by Archimedes and was led by many paths and turns. The labyrinth was designed so that it could only be accessed by entering and exiting. Various legends tell of a hero who entered the labyrinth to free the Minotaur, and of a witch who created it to trap the Minotaur himself.

According to ancient Greek legend, the Minotaur was killed by Theseus. Theseus was sent by Athens to Crete to liberate the Minotaur. He reached the Labyrinth, where he met the Minotaur face to face and defeated him with a sword fight. After his death, Theseus found his way out of the Labyrinth with the help of a narrow spear bestowed on him by Athena.
