  3. Rituals: Umrah includes the ritual of Tawaf, or circling the Kaaba seven times, and Sa'i, passing seven times between the hills of Safa and Marwa. It does not include other rituals that are part of Hajj.
  4. Meaning: Umrah is often referred to as a "minor pilgrimage" or "voluntary pilgrimage." It is an opportunity to renew spiritual faith, but does not replace the obligatory Hajj.
