Holy Communion, also known as the Eucharist or the Lord's Supper, is one of the seven sacraments in the Catholic Church, and is also celebrated by many other Christian traditions. It is a sacrament in which Christians receive the body and blood of Christ under the forms of bread and wine, in remembrance of the Last Supper that Jesus ate with his disciples.
