Mufasa is a character from the movie "The Lion King" produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Mufasa - interesting facts and information 

  • Mufasa is the king of the Pridelands, the lands depicted in the movie "The Lion King." He is Sarabi's husband and Simba's father.
  • He is a figure full of wisdom and majesty who teaches his son, Simba, the principles of the "Circle of Life" and the responsibility that comes with being a king.
  • Mufasa is treacherously killed by his brother, Scar, who wants to take over the throne. Although Mufasa dies fairly early in the film, his presence and influence on Simba is felt throughout the film.
  • Mufasa was voiced by actor James Earl Jones in the original 1994 English version of the film and in the 2019 remake. In the Polish version, Mufasa was dubbed by Janusz Zakrzeński in the original film and Miłogost Reczek in the remake.
  • The character of Mufasa is often associated with characters such as King Hamlet from Shakespeare's play "Hamlet," which is partly due to the fact that "The Lion King" draws its inspiration from this play.
