Simba is a character from the film "The Lion King" produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The film premiered in 1994.

  • Simba is a young lion who is the son of Mufasa and Sarabi, making him heir to the Pride Lands kingdom.
  • In his youth, Simba is curious and fearless, though sometimes reckless. He repeatedly gets into trouble through his audacity.
  • After Mufasa's death, caused by his treacherous uncle Scar, Simba flees the Pride Lands. He then meets Timon and Pumbaa, who teach him the philosophy of "Hakuna Matata" (no problem).
  • In "The Lion King," Simba grows up and becomes a strong and courageous lion. After meeting his long-lost friend, Nala, and the ghost of his father, Simba returns to the Pride Lands to defeat Scar and reclaim his right to the throne.
  • The character of Simba also appears in many other media related to the "Lion King," including sequels, spin-offs, video games, animated series, etc.
  • In the original English language version, Simba is lent his voice by actor Matthew Broderick (adult Simba) and Jonathan Taylor Thomas (young Simba). In the Polish language version, Simba's voice is lent by Jaroslaw Boberek, among others.
