Maya is the main character of an animated series on Netflix. Her story takes place in a pre-colonial world, namely Mesoamerica. While celebrating her 15th birthday, gods from the underworld appear. They demand that Maya pay for the sins of her ancestors. The girl does everything to prevent the desolation of her city.
