Hummingbirds take nectar




What they can do is phenomenal. They fly up to the flower and freeze in the air flapping their wings very fast. They put their beak into the calyx of the flower, they have, as you can see on the photo, quite a long beak, and with its help they can drink the nectar from the flower.
